How soon can we receive the cabinets from the time we order them on line?
It takes from 3 to 5 days for the order to leave our warehouse; depending on the final destination, it will take another 3-10 days for the cabinets to arrive. You will receive a phone call from the carrier to schedule the delivery.
In the rare case that part of your order is out of stock temporarily and additional time is needed to complete your order, we will contact you by e-mail or phone to discuss the delivery time-line. You can log into your account and check the status of your order (Payment received, In-progress or Shipped).
Can I have a tracking number for my order?
Freight companies issue what they call a “Pro Number” to track each shipment. The Pro Number will be available, upon request, one day after the shipment is picked up from our warehouse by the freight company. You can write to customerservice@domaincabinets.com and ask for the Pro Number along with the freight company’s phone number.
For UPS shipping, your tracking number will be available in your account as soon as your order is shipped. You will also receive automatic e-mail from UPS.
Do I have to pay sales tax on my order?
You do not pay any sales tax unless your shipping address is in California. For orders shipped within the state of California, you are required to pay state sales tax as well as, if any, local county taxes.
How do I calculate shipping cost for my order (Continental US)?
At Domain Cabinets Direct, our goal is to deliver your order in the quickest and most economical manner. Cabinets are packaged in pallets and arrive at your door 3-10 days from the time the order leaves our warehouse. An adult (18 years or older) must be present during delivery. For small orders (150 lbs or less) we use either UPS or FedEx ground shipping. The shipping charges are calculated based on total value of your order (before discount). Residential shipping only covers curbside service. The driver does not have to take your order past a curb or down a long driveway. The residential prices below only cover curbside service. Please note if you chose Non-Residential Shipping and your order is billed as residential you will be liable for all charges we incur. In most cases the charges we incur are more than the prices we offer for residential shipping on our table. So your honesty will most likely pay off.

How much will it cost to ship to Alaska or Hawaii?
The flat rate applies to both Residential and Non-residential addresses in Alaska and Hawaii. Fork lift service is included if needed.

For orders less than $2,000.00 CALL FOR QUOTE. In the rare case that our flat rate shipping charge is significantly below our cost (usually happens to single large vanity cabinet orders), we reserve the right to re-quote you the correct shipping charge or cancel the order.
What is Destination Terminal Pick up?
When you choose Destination Terminal Pick Up, your order will be shipped to the nearest freight terminal in your area. You will need to drive to the terminal and pick up your shipment. The freight company will have a fork lift to help load the pallet into your truck. We work with about 20 different freight companies and normally we will find a freight terminal that is within 35 miles of you. In the event that we can’t find a terminal that is close to you, we will discuss options with you before shipping out your order.
I have to delay delivery of my order; how much do you charge for storage fee?
Due to limited space in our warehouse, if you place an order we can hold the shipment up to one month from the order date. If you need to have your order placed on hold for over a month, there will be a storage fee of $100/week.
Do you offer a Contractor / Designer discount?
We offer 10-15% discount off our regular price for contractors, designers and architects. We require that you have a valid license and that you register online. Go to the Log In page for more information.
Do I need to buy Finished End Panels?
For any EXPOSED end, the following cabinets will need either a Finished End Skin Panel (1/4” thick) or a Finished End Panel (3/4” thick) to have the same finished color or cover screw heads:
- Antique Almond (Wall, Base, Tall and Vanity)
- Merlot Birch (Wall, Base, Tall and Vanity)
- Golden Honey (Wall, Base, Tall and Vanity)
- Honey Birch (Wall, Base, Tall and Vanity)

Do I need Scribe Molding? What is it for?
When using a Finished End Thin (Skin) Panel, the ¼” front edge of the panel is exposed and a Scribe Molding is used to cover it. If you use the ¾” Finished End Panel, you do not need an additional Scribe Molding since the front edge is finished.
Can I get a free Quote / Design?
We offer two options for determining pricing:
We can design for you! Simply send us the basic dimensions of your plan and we will create the cabinet layout for your entire kitchen or bathroom. Click on the 3D design page to see what we offer.
OR
With all the tools available on our site it is possible to get yourself a quote with just a little bit of time. To do this you will need to have an idea of the dimensions and an overall idea of what style you would like for the room you are remodeling or building. Now that you have a style and an overall layout here is where we recommend starting:
Step 1: Go to our Home page. www.domaincabinetsdirect.com
Step 2: At the top of the page you will see a Shop button click on it.
Step 3: If you look at the header it says “Know exactly what you need to order? Click here and go straight to our Quick Order page!” There is a link on the word “here”. Click it and get started!
Step 4: You will now see a “View by Category:” drop down menu, in this menu you will find the style you’ve previously chosen and 5 subsequent folders; they are:

Can I use your RTA cabinets for _______?
These RTA Cabinets are intended to be used as is. We do not encourage or discourage customers from using them for other purposes or making modifications. We have seen customers come up with very creative ways of utilizing our RTA cabinets, and in doing so saving money as well. We do not cover any liability associated with the alteration of our RTA products.
How do your prices compare with your competitors?
For the same or similar quality cabinets, our price is very competitive. Please check pricing detail.
Do you provide installation service?
Our subsidiary Domain Granite & Cabinets provides installation service for cabinets and granite counter tops in Southern California; we do not provide installation service in other areas.
Do you sell cabinets for large development projects?
Yes, we do. Larger development projects will have further discounts and customization according to your requirements. Please send an e-mail request to dealers@domaincabinets.com.
Can I see the cabinets before I order them on line?
All our cabinets have online showroom links or, if you happen to be in Southern California, make an appointment to see our in-house showroom. Please call or e-mail to set up an appointment.
Do you have a catalog that I can have?
We do not have a paper catalog or pricing sheet. All product information and pricing is on our web site and it is the most updated information.
What if the cabinets ordered do not fit my kitchen?
All cabinet dimensions are available for each unit; and you should also check the general dimensions before you make your purchase. We do not take responsibility if you order the wrong units. However, if we provided the 3D Design service and generated the product list for you prior to your purchase, we will accept responsibility for errors by our designers.
What products do you recommend for cleaning my cabinets?
We recommend using warm soapy water on all our product with a soft non-abrasive cloth. We do not recommend using any ammonia or acetone based cleaners. Avoid harsh chemicals. Using these cleaning products may cause damage to your cabinets.
What is your product warranty?
Our cabinets are covered for one year for manufacturer defects only. Material that is not in its original delivered condition (ie painted, cut, left out in weather, damaged) will not be covered under warranty.
This does not include any physical damage caused by you or a third party, damage from abuse, neglect or natural causes or disasters. You are also responsible for providing photographic evidence of the damage and in some cases you may be required to mail us the damaged item at your own expense pending our findings of your claim.
What is your return and exchange policy?
You may cancel your order free of charge if your order has not been processed. If your order has been processed, there is a 10% restocking fee. Once an item has left the warehouse, shipping is non refundable and items are subject to a 10% restocking fee for all unopened items and 20% for any opened items. Unopened assembled-vanities are subject to a 20% restocking fee while opened assembled vanities are not returnable. You are responsible for all return shipping charges. All returns are subject to manager's approval upon receipt.
Upon delivery, it is your responsibility to inspect all items for damage or missing parts. Any damage or missing parts need to be noted IMMEDIATELY by contacting us by e-mail (customerservice@domaincabinets.com). You are also responsible for providing photographic evidence of damage or missing parts before we can ship out replacement products. Any claim filed 7 days after receiving the shipment will not be accepted. It is your responsibility to report any shipping damage or missing items BEFORE you start any assembly process.

Do you ship to Canada?
Yes we do. For a single kitchen order (usually less than 25 cabinet units not including accessories), we do not handle shipping quote or freight arrangements. Make a copy of your shopping cart and send to customerservice@domaincabinets, and we will create an order that only consists of product sales and your credit card will only be charged by us for the product. We will then calculate the total weight of your order and packing pallet dimensions and arrange for you to contact our freight agent directly for shipping arrangements. Alternatively, you can use our web site to place the order to be shipped to an address that is at the US-Canada border (for example a UPS store), and you arrange the freight cross border from there.
